Your drawings, pricing, and proposals stay yours.
Here is how Folio handles customer data: who can see it, which vendors process it, what they do with it, and how to get it deleted.
Folio Intelligence
The AI behind every Folio product. Fast, sourced, and not always right.
Folio Intelligence reads your drawings and drafts the scope, the estimate, the leveling and the risk register. It does the data entry. Your team still owns the number.
Folio Intelligence can make mistakes.
Check what matters before you send it to a sub, submit a bid or commit capital. Treat every output as a draft from a fast junior estimator: useful, sourced, and in need of review.
How it works
It starts from your set
Folio splits and indexes your drawings by sheet, discipline and CSI division. Scope, estimate, bid leveling and risk all work from that same indexed set.
It shows its source
Answers about the drawings cite the sheet and page they came from. Risk items link to the sheet that raised them.
It prices with your numbers first
Estimates use your own unit prices. When Folio falls back to a web price lookup, the line is marked so you can see it.
Where it can be wrong
These are the places to look first.
Reading the drawings
A dense sheet, a faint scan or an unusual detail can be misread.
Open the cited sheet before you rely on the answer.
Scope breakdown
A scope line can be missed, duplicated or placed in the wrong trade.
Review each trade package before it goes out to subs.
Revisions
If a superseded sheet is still in play, the output can reflect the old design.
Confirm the current revision is uploaded and the old one is marked superseded.
Pricing
Web price lookups are a fallback, not a quote. They can be stale or wrong for your market.
Replace marked fallback prices with your own before you submit a number.
Sub proposals
Parsing can misread an inclusion, an exclusion or an alternate.
Check the leveling grid against the original proposal before you award.
You stay in control
Folio drafts. Your team decides what gets sent to subs, which proposal gets awarded and which number gets submitted. Every output can be edited before it leaves your hands.
Your data
Folio does not train or fine-tune any model on your drawings, specs, pricing or proposals. See which vendors process your data on the subprocessors page.
